CRIMTAN CORE PRIVACY PRINCIPLES

We have no knowledge of any web user's identity.
We do not collect or use personally identifiable information.
We do not store raw data about a web user's online activities, such as
websites visited and search terms.
We use data exclusively to map interests to common, consumer market segment categories.
We require our partners to provide consumer notice and offer informed choice.
We make available on-going disclosure and choice.

NOTICE AND USER CHOICE

gpp.pngCrimtan is fully committed to the EU Framework for Online Behavioural Advertising and was one of the first companies to sign up in the UK and Ireland. Crimtan is also a member of the IAB and has been independently audited by ABCe to conform to the IAB's Good Practice Principles for Online Behavioural Advertising (OBA). These Principles set out procedures for user notice and informed choice, which include:
Crimtan and our contracted Web Partners will provide clear and unambiguous notice to users that we collect data for the purposes of OBA. This notice shall include information about what types of data are collected, how this data is being used and how users can decline OBA.
Crimtan and our contracted Web Partners will provide straightforward information on how to decline OBA and ensure that this information is prominently displayed and easily accessible.

Web users have the right to complain about Crimtan's compliance with the Principles. In the first instance users should email Crimtan at info@crimtan.com with full details of the complaint. If the complaint is not dealt with and resolved by Crimtan within 20 days users may take their complaint, via the IAB, to a panel of the OBA Board who will review it and decide if any action should be taken.
